Hello. I use Lyric v5.22

I would like to make some macros which c-mix is involved.
I would like to be able to have some control of the c-mix interface (i.e choosing "mix" on the Route on Output1).

Is this possible? If so, does anyone have any experience with it?

Thanks.
Justin.

Hi Justin,

Yes, you can use macros to control the CMix. First, create a Cmix, then create a new folder somewhere on your hard drive like I:\MY SHOW\MIXES...File/Save As: pick a descriptive name such as MIX 1 & CLIP.
Save as a .lyr file.
Then in your macro, type

Lyric.Open "I:\MY SHOW\MIXES\MIX 1 & CLIP.lyr"

then just add a HotKey and you're all set.

Good Luck

Also, you can built a mix in the CMIX PANEL, dial a page number/address into the numeric keypad, and hit CNTL+REC and record a CMIX MESSAGE, which will allow you to change the mix without erasing or otherwise distrubing what's on the canvas at the time.
