DB / Text linking?

I am an untrained chyron user, so i have a few question to make my life easier. Currently i am using a Duet PCI+ system on our remote truck and have a MicroX on the way. I am really interested in getting the DB function to work on these systems. We do alot of local sporting events and the DB will really help. Is there a written tutorial on how to set this up and get it working? Can I use this function on the Duet PCI+ system? Question 2, Is there a way to link text on different pages. Say you have a lower quarter score bar, and a fullscreen score bar, and a upper quarter score bar. I would be on the upper score bar most of the time putting stat info in during the event. Could I link the scoring info to the other score pages to automatically update the scores and other info on the page? Enough for now, im sure more questions are coming. Thanks

One of them deals with the DB Link feature. It'll give you a quick overview of how to get started using it.

To answer your second question, if you're using the DB Link feature this is very possible. It's actually the preferred way of doing multiple scoreboards, etc. Update the Excel spreadsheet and all the pages that refer to it are instantly updated.

You can also go to Lyric On-Line help by clicking Help>Help Topics in Lyric. Type DB in the index tab and then select DB Link from the selection. This gives you all the information you need to set the DB link feature up in Lyric.
