Lyric & LeaderPlus

Wondering how many people use LeaderPlus and Lyric for election coverage.

If you do, here's my question: How do I set it up so Leader feeds certain FB's in the lyric? Do I need to have seperate versions of Leader going into the 2 serial ports of Duet?

What we're trying to do is use one 2 channel HyperX for all our elections. On FB1 would be al the fullscreens, on FB2 would be the lower 3rds. Both up and looping. Ideas?

We use Leader and A LEX. When you loop results in Leader, its takes control of the Duet and whatever frame buffer is selected is where the boards will display. We use a MAX for the lower thirds. On the Duet we have Avstar on port 1 for news supers, and Leader on port 2 for boards(that we advance manually).

Spoke to the good folks at Leaderplus today. Their software does not support doing this. So alas, its back to the old way of having to use 2 machines. BAH.

Couldn't this be setup through the scripting. LeaderPlus allows different scripts for fs & lower 1/3's. Is the chyron HyperX not capable of running fs on FB1 and lower 3rds on FB2? Will I have to use another HyperX for one or the other? I have 4, guess I'll choose one. eh?

I had thought that i'd be able to designate in the leader scripting to have leader feed fullscreens to one FB on my hyperX and lower 3rds on the other FB, but Leader folks say that cant happen. :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown

So we have to use 2 hyperX's....

I think we all know that when LeaderPlus is operational on election night it takes control of the chyron. I have a question... is there a way to script a Y axis rotate to change the graphics????

Idea: first race online, press Air Races the Chyron performs a Y axis rotate as the new information comes on screen.
