Movies... interlaced

Hello, work on a Lyric 5.24 and I have some problems importing Movies with interlaced video. I use an Avi file as a Movie (encoded in DVPAL) and when I play it on Lyric and if the movie has fast movements (sports for example) I see lines on the screen (VGA and frame buffer too). Has Lyric an option to deinterlace the video (I have done it outside Lyric and it works, but I need that Lyric do it). Is it possible?

I believe the movies need to be uncompressed to be imported into Lyric, but I could be wrong. I've sent your post to one of our product specialists to see if she can respond.
