lyric pro timeline duration doubles when recording message

Just recently upgraded to hd. when going to latest version of Lyric Pro, whenever recording a message the animation duration doubles in length. wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and what is the fix. Is there something I am missing in the settings? Id appreciate any help anyone can give me

Check your CANVAS RESOLUTION settings for ENABLE AUTO STANDARDS CONVERSION. It might be trying to double the animation length because of the frame rate difference between NTSC and 720p.
