Hello all, we are running both 6.5 (studio) and 5.24 (truck graphics) on the same HyperX. Sometimes we build in 5.24 and then need to do some studio stuff. When we shut down 5.24 and start 6.5 we go to play out a message and the output turns magenta. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, that's not uncommon on some systems running old & new software. The solution could be an unregister... It's only about a 2 minute ordeal... minor PITA, but should fix ya up.
1) Be sure you have a user profile saved
2) C:\Program Files\Chyron\Lyric 6.5\LyricUnregister.exe
3) Yes, delete all registry keys
4) Manually reset hardware in CONFIG > (Duet) Hardware
5) Run your user profile to restore all other settings
