When clients upload messages to our FTP site, they often leave out necessary constituent file (associated movies, graphics, fonts, etc.). Lyric provides a utility which allows a user to create a “Backup File” or *.LBU which automatically compresses the selected message(s) and all associated files into a single, highly compressed format.
Chyron Support Technicians and Product Specialist are then able to download and “restore” entire directory structures, which in turn allows us to better analyze Lyric messages with less “back and forth” with the client.
