We recently prepared an awards ceremony show with almost 300 simple F/S graphics (names, grades, award, etc). We had a .pdf of the instructions on how to create an excel document and format it and link the template fields in a message to the fields in the excel document.
Our problem was that we didn't understand how we could create 300 messages without having to go through each message and edit the db links for the 6 template fields of each message. Our solution was to load our template page with the Excel data, disable all the db links, and save the page to another number, and repeat this process 300 times.
Is there some way we can have lyric read all the rows (or give it a range of rows to read) from excel, and create pages based off a message with the template fields? Or is there some other way to automate this (we have a spelling-bee coming up with similar graphics and it's going to be in the hundreds of pages).
Any insight would be much appreciated.
